About Turning Point of Tampa
Turning Point of Tampa was created in 1987 and provides treatment for mental health and substance abuse disorders in Tampa, Florida. The programs are 12 Step oriented and are for individuals aged 18 and over. Residential and outpatient services are set up and ready to go for you.
The facility accepts most private insurance plans including TRICARE. Self-pay options are available for individuals that need financial assistance they have partnered with Prosper Healthcare Lending for funding options.
Treatment Programs and Services
Their residential treatment offers 24/7 support which includes rooms, meals, therapy sessions, education and life skills training programs. The primary level 1 program is 30 days and focuses on relapse prevention and how to build coping mechanisms. The level 2 program encourages volunteer work in your local community and education while still continuing therapy sessions.
Their day treatment program provides sessions seven days a week for five hours a day while their intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers therapy and support without needing to stay onsite.
Help for Veterans and Everyone
Turning Point has a resolve program that is dedicated for veterans and active duty members and addresses psychological issues that are common with military personnel. Their aftercare supports group sessions with licensed therapists, alumni programs, and ongoing support for clients transitioning back into their community.
