Residential Treatment for Women in Nebraska
The Bridge employs licensed and certified counselors and support staff. I like that residents have access to staff 24 hours a day.
Their Mom & Me program is a long-term comprehensive program for women who would not be successful in short-term programs. Young children live onsite with their mothers throughout the women’s treatment. Readiness to change and overcoming the effects of addiction are key factors that women will learn in this program.
The Bridge is located in regular neighborhoods where residents can begin to integrate with community members and neighbors and enjoy a sense of normalcy. During their stay, women learn how to prevent relapse. They gain skills through highly structured peer-oriented treatment activities.
The house is set up like a family home. There’s a communal kitchen, living room, and a backyard with a children’s playset. Some rooms have cribs and/or toddler beds whereas others have twin beds.
