About Stella Maris
Stella Maris is an addiction treatment center located in Cleveland, Ohio that provides programs and services to help individuals fight mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders. Created in 1948, it’s the oldest addiction treatment provider in Cleveland.
A Full Continuum of Care on the Shore of Lake Erie​
Stella Maris offers different programs for various stages of recovery which include. You might start with detox or withdrawal management, followed by their residential treatment program, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
Each of these programs incorporates trauma-informed care with individual and group counseling. They also offer medication assisted treatment (MAT).
Amenities for Now, Job Training for Later
Residents on-site have access to private and semi private rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a full gym. They also have a Workforce Development program. Patients will receive hands-on job training skills in the kitchen or coffee shop which helps develop practical employment skills like customer service and time management. Patients receive resume help, interview preparation and job placement opportunities.
Care for Life: Aftercare and Alumni Programs
Aftercare programs are extremely important for recovery and long-term sobriety. Stella Maris offers public 12-step recovery meetings at their coffee shop. They can also provide referrals to community-based resources like sober living facilities and sober social events.
All these services and resources are available to current patients and alumni and bring a sense of community while helping you maintain recovery goals.
The facility accepts most private insurance plans, state financed insurance plans, Tricare, self-pay options and financial assistance.
