Recovery Road, located in vibrant Grand Rapids, Michigan is home to a group of sober living homes that offer a safe setting for recovery from substance use dependency. With six men’s houses and five women's houses, their ultimate goal is to give you hope so you can focus on your recovery as a lifestyle. Recovery Road’s believes that transformation is the key to sobriety.
Services at Recovery Road
The sober living houses of Recovery Road are designed to give you a structured yet comfortable environment conducive to helping you recover from substance use disorder. You’ll be encouraged to actively participate in your own healing journey by taking accountability for challenges and building on your strengths.
Connection is an emphasized component of their program and through your relationships with other residents, you’ll be able to build on your foundation as you move forward. You’ll also be invited to attend house meetings to share your progress, support fellow residents, and properly address any concerns. Ultimately, the goal is to get you transitioned into mainstream life and contributing to the community.
Perks of Sober Living in Grand Rapids
Each house is equipped with internet, cable, and a house phone to enable you to stay connected with loved ones and job opportunities. Your house will be located near bus lines for accessibility. If you have children, they can come visit you with the director's approval. For your convenience, you’ll have access to coin-operated washers and dryers right inside your house.
After 30 days, you may become eligible for overnight outings, to offer you a meaningful way to rebuild independence. We also like that Recovery Road honors all paths to healing, so if you receive Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) like methadone and Suboxone, this is allowed. All of these features come together to create a space where you’ll feel supported and empowered to write a new chapter.
Cost of Admission
The cost of admission at Recovery Road is straightforward and accessible to help you ease your transition into sober living. If you self pay, you’ll be invited to provide $300.00 at move-in, which covers the first two weeks.
There are flexible payment options available afterward based on varying payment schedules. If you get disability benefits, a prorated amount is due when you move in, with a flat fee due on the first of each following month.
