Different Assessment Types as a First Step
Treatment begins with an assessment. The type of assessment is individualized for each client. Court mandated substance abuse assessments are scheduled by appointment Monday through Saturday.
Clinical assessments with recovery planning are conducted by master’s level certified alcohol and drug counselors by appointment in the clinical office. This consists of a biopsychosocial assessment to determine unique issues and needs for your physical health, mental health, and social circumstances.
Finally, residential assessments are conducted for each client participating in residential services. These create an individualized treatment plan unique to each client. The assessment will determine the client’s issues, needs, goals, and strengths.
Withdrawal and Detox Services in a Safe Environment
Many clients will require withdrawal management from detox. This provides a safe way to detox in a medical facility. The program here provides women’s specialty services, trauma informed care and motivational interviewing services during detox as well. After detox, clients will transition to the long-term residential program if it’s appropriate for their needs.
Long Term Residential Rehab with Family Involvement in Grand Rapids
The 90 day residential program here includes trauma informed care for clients dealing with trauma issues. The program includes residency in a beautiful historic home, individual and group therapy, yoga, Reiki, outings, and more.
Family and loved ones are welcome to visit and be part of the client’s journey to sobriety. They believe family support is pivotal to a woman’s battle with addiction and ultimate recovery. The last Sunday of every month they have a family program with an educational and informational meeting which is free.
The Lyon Street location offers alumni resources as well for those who have completed treatment programs.
