About NOVA Treatment Community
Tucked away on the northern outskirts of Omaha, Nebraska, Nova Treatment Community is a treatment facility that supports adults and adolescents struggling with drug or alcohol use. This facility sits on the Cooper Village Memorial Farms, a property owned by the Omaha Home for Boys, but provides you with a scenic and tranquil recovery environment.
There are designated programs for adults and adolescents here, and the residential treatment programs are created to empower you and provide you with the skill set for success in your recovery journey. Residential treatment programs are structured for short term care and typically range from 30 to 90 days.
Solution Oriented Recovery
NOVA, which stands for New Options, Values, and Achievements, operates on the philosophy that with the right skill sets, you can achieve and maintain sobriety and pursue a fruitful, sober future. Their adult residential treatment program does an excellent job of preparing you for the future through their whole person approach to care.
Along with daily group and individual therapy sessions, you’ll work on independent living skill building and will receive specialized addiction recovery support to help you identify and manage triggers.
Going beyond standard therapeutic approaches, vocational and employment services teach tangible, real world skills so you can maintain an independent lifestyle. There’s a strong focus on solution oriented recovery, helping you build a toolkit of strategies to tap into when facing challenges. Through this, you’ll minimize your risk of relapse.
Continuing Care with Alumni Services
NOVA Treatment Community is just the first step in addiction recovery. Once you complete treatment here, you can transition into their alumni program, where you’ll continue receiving meaningful and relatable support.
This includes support group meetings where you can connect with others, including those who have maintained long term sobriety. The alumni group stays active in the community, engaging in service work that gives back to the community. This fosters a sense of purpose and reinforces healthy recovery habits.
