About North Central Human Service Center
The North Central Human Service Center (NCHSC) is a public clinic located in Minot, North Dakota, next to the local Scandinavian Heritage Park. They offer several residential and outpatient treatment programs to adults and adolescents struggling with substance and alcohol addictions. They’ve assisted clients since 1981.
NCHSC is a part of the North Dakota Health and Human Services, which means that their services are provided at a low cost to people who need their help, and they can offer even further financial assistance if required.
A Broad Continuum of Programs
NCHSC is set up to be able to reach as many people in the community as possible. For adults with intensive needs, they offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) as well as a high intensity residential care program. In both settings, the client receives a great deal of attention in whichever setting fits their needs and circumstances best.
NCHSC also offers a social detoxification treatment for both adults and adolescents to give them an extra level of support during their first phase of recovery. From there, they offer their patients intensive and regular outpatient programs to lay stronger foundations for long term recovery.
There for You in Times of Need
As a public clinic, their policy is to help assess a person’s needs, regardless of whether they had an appointment or not. Walk-ins are available on weekdays, but they ensure that those with critical symptoms get treatment immediately.
