Located in Bozeman, Montana, is the Travis W. Atkins Department of Veterans Affairs Clinic. It’s a facility committed to help veterans battle mental health and substance abuse disorders with the same passion as our soldiers. Named after Army Staff Sgt. Travis Atkins who sacrificed his life in 2007 during the Iraq War, this facility brings that same spirit and wants to fight with you.
Most programs are covered by the VA healthcare system but may require a co-pay for certain services. Referrals are not required to enroll.

This facility has various programs for all veterans and their families, from primary care, mental health support, women’s health and laboratory facilities. They also offer telehealth options so clients receive the support they need regardless of where they are located. With services such as outpatient rehabilitation, dual diagnosis and 12 Step programs, veterans can receive support while recovering and starting a new life.
Strategic Expansion and Unique Offerings
The property has been recently renovated to include physical therapy and audiology to help in critical areas like mobility and hearing impairments. Additionally, they partnered with local residential clinics for patients who require more intensive care with 24/7 support from staff.
