Community is at the heart of the facility’s residential program and shines through in the care provided by staff and the comfortable living quarters and community spaces you can expect to share with fellow residents.
The program is broken down into three distinct phases, with the first known as Feelings School. This stage lasts around six weeks, and features 30 hours of clinical programming each week including group and family therapy and psychoeducation. Treatment is gender-separated, and involves 12 Step practices, round-the-clock monitoring, and life skills sessions.
Phase 2 is all about skills application, wherein you’ll put into practice everything you’ve learned up until this point.At this stage you’ll drop down to 15 hours of programming, along with access to medication management services and relapse prevention planning sessions.
Phase 3 is the sober living stage. You’ll take up employment and begin paying rent and setting yourself up for life outside of the care program. You’ll engage in more individual therapy sessions, and begin prepping for the aftercare stage. Upon completion of this program, you’ll also have access to alumni support.
Outpatient Addiction Treatment Options in Doraville
If more flexible treatment is what you’re looking for, the center has various outpatient options you can choose from. Partial hospitalization (PHP) is the most intensive of these, taking place for roughly six weeks with a commitment of 30 hours per week.
Meanwhile, intensive outpatient (IOP) is eight weeks long and demands 16 hours of commitment per week.
