Howard Center Client Services’ administrative HQ is located in Burlington Vermont and operates many different facilities with various programs and services for adults, teens and children. This organization truly is a one-stop shop for recovery, crisis interventions and developmental issues.
They accept most private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE. They offer self-pay and a sliding scale if needed.
Children and Teen Programs
Some programs include the Jarret House which provides children 5-13, crisis stabilization for health emergencies related to mental health. For kids and young adults, their Autism Spectrum Program focuses on verbal communication in their daily life and is available for ages 3-22.
The INCLUSION Program is for K-12 students who suffer from emotional, mental and behavioral health issues and helps them manage them with education classes. Teens 12-17 have access to the Park Street Program which is a residential facility specializing in sexual harming behaviors and promotes healthier habits and responsibility.
Adult Programs
Howard Center has various programs for adults that are fighting substance abuse and mental health disorders. The Chittenden clinic specializes in opioid recovery by providing MAT, as well as intensive outpatient (IOP) and the DUI services to help patients restore their driving privilege.
Community resources include The Westview House. This is a day program for adults with severe mental illness to gather and engage in social activities building friendships and bonds.
