Addiction Recovery Your Way
The Harris House is committed to helping you work through recovery in the way that best serves you. It’s why they have different treatment approaches like faith based counseling, introduction to the 12 Steps, and individual and group counseling. They also have ongoing education groups where you’ll get to explore targeted topics like anger management, relapse prevention, biofeedback, how to manage cravings, depression and anxiety, and understanding the science behind chemical dependency.
Modern Recovery Environment
The Harris House Treatment and Recovery Center has a really tranquil and modern recovery environment. Both inside and out, you'll feel more like you're in a hotel than a drug treatment facility. On the outside, a modern wooden plank building features a gorgeous water fountain pond out front and a beautiful open courtyard in the center where you can enjoy the warmer months.
Inside, you'll find clean and comfortable detox rooms, open layouts, a modern dining hall, and community spaces where you connect directly with others in recovery. Floor to ceiling windows bring the space to life, making the facility feel light and bright. There's a very peaceful vibe throughout the building, and that theme of calm continues with the kind and supportive care team here.
Supportive Care for Continuing Recovery
They have a really strong continuing care program that includes a well put together transitional housing program. This program gets you in touch with subsidized housing options, nutritional meals, and ongoing counseling services for up to a year. Through this program, you can stay on the course of your recovery even after you've completed treatment.
