Residential Treatment for Men
Their inpatient program runs on a 30-day, 60-day, or 90-day track depending on your specific needs. You can benefit from classic therapy options such as individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric care and wellness activities. They also offer holistic options such as yoga, tai chi, nutritional counseling and art therapy.
Their 90-day track is designed for those who have been treated multiple times and have not succeeded in maintaining long-term sobriety. Here you'll get a deeper analysis of your trauma and attachment issues, as well as tips on preventing relapse triggers and unhealthy relationship patterns. They place a heavy emphasis on 12 Step recovery and spiritual growth, but they also have non-religious options available.
Outpatient Treatment Option
A partial hospitalization program is also available if you need to return home after sessions. This offers cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR and motivational interviewing.

My favorite thing about Extra Mile is their amenities, because that is what feels the most unique to me. They offer lodge-style housing in rustic cabins, plus full gym access with workout equipment. You can also take advantage of their volleyball and basketball courts, walking trails, ponds, and fishing areas. Your meals are prepared by an in-house private chef, and a variety of nutrition support is available. These amenities provide a great community feel that seems like a great environment for recovery.
