Comfortable Medical Detox in Tucson
Clients who need to safely withdraw from substances can get trusted medical detox at Cottonwood. You'll have a consultation with a medical provider, constant nursing supervision and monitoring and a medication protocol that will ensure you are as comfortable as possible.
They have eight medical detox beds all located near a nursing station. During your time in detox, you'll also have access to holistic therapies like tai chi, meditation and yoga.
I appreciate that you can come just for stand-alone detox if you don't want to step down into residential treatment as well.
Residential Rehab with Clinical and Holistic Therapies
Cottonwood Tucson offers residential treatment for substance use disorders, mental health disorders or a combination of both.
I'm impressed by the large variety of treatment options that they offer their clients. For example, treatment modalities may include EMDR, equine-assisted therapy, rocks and ropes courses, mind-body therapy and so much more.
Each patient is guided by a physician, medical director and primary counselor. Outpatient treatment is available following residential treatment, or as an entry point as well.
