Oxbow Center got its start in 2024. At that time, Cloud Peak Counseling, Yellowstone Behavioral Health, and Big Horn Basin Counseling Services teamed up and rebranded. They offer mental healthcare and addiction treatment services to people of all ages living in the BigHorn Basin. You'll find 'em located out in Worland, Wyoming.
Support That Fits You
Recovery looks different for everyone. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) includes specialized groups that focus on what matters most to you. They offer groups for relapse prevention and life skills. There’s even one dedicated to gender specific issues.
I like that you don’t have to wait for support. Their Virtual Walk-In Clinic is open Monday through Friday, so you can connect with help from wherever you are. If you need urgent care outside of regular hours, after-hours support is available every night and all weekend.
Healing Beyond Talk Therapy
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) is a specialized therapy that helps people work through painful memories. It’s useful for processing trauma without having to relive every detail, but it’s not something every addiction treatment center offers. I appreciate that it’s available 'cause trauma and addiction often mesh together.
