About Clearview Recovery
Clearview Recovery is located in Prairie City, Iowa. This is a drug treatment facility for women only, and they offer residential and outpatient services here. They also support pregnant women and women who have children. They accept Medicaid.
Family Focused Addiction Treatment
At the heart of their recovery approach is helping women and mothers build the skills to lead a sober and healthy life, not just for themselves but for their children as well. You'll be immersed in a comfortable, homelike setting that mimics what a healthy and productive day as a family unit should look like.
You'll learn how to manage your responsibilities, how to be a stronger parent, and how to create and set boundaries for your family that promote health and wellness.
All the while, you'll be receiving evidence based counseling and therapy services to help address your addiction. They follow the 12 steps here, and you'll be encouraged to continue with this 12 step program even after you leave treatment.
Through counseling, you'll work on developing your self esteem, learning job and life readiness skills, understanding how to manage complex feelings and anger, and how to be a productive parent overall.
If you’re someone who has lost custodial rights, the treatment program is designed to encourage and prepare you to regain those rights.
Peaceful Recovery Environment
Clearview Recovery operates out of a tranquil, residential style home. There's a beautiful garden and outdoor gazebo where you can soak in the sunshine while having a peaceful place to reflect on your recovery.
The home is on the outskirts of town and backs up to flatlands, providing you with a tranquil and quiet space away from the distractions of the city. This is a really calming environment for you to focus on your recovery journey and your next steps after treatment.
Most women stay here a couple of weeks or a couple of months, or until they're ready to take the next step forward.
