About Centre Mandan Facility
In central Mandan, North Dakota, on the banks of the Missouri River, Center operates their Residential Reentry Center. Center is a nonprofit organization founded in 1976 and dedicated to providing transitional living and rehabilitation services to people who are either reintegrating back into society after a drug related prison sentence or who have to undergo rehab as a part of their probation conditions. The Mandan Facility is a hub for their core program and provides rehabilitative treatment with a focus on preparing someone to rejoin society as well as a few of their newer diversionary initiatives.
Drug Free Transitional Accommodations
The Mandan facility can accommodate 48 men and 24 women at a time in separate quarters. While staying here, residents receive substance use treatments as well as case management services to help them move toward healthier and more responsible lifestyles.
The center has incredibly strict rules on internal drug or alcohol use so that they can keep the environment as healthy as possible for everyone. However, one of their best policies is to carefully monitor the way in which they enforce the rules so that they can get the best possible outcome for their residents.
A Base for Community Service & Skills Building
The Mandan Center also has offices for community services and misdemeanor probationary programs. In these contexts, key partnerships with federal and state correctional services allow them to offer these programs as alternatives to prison sentences for drug related offenses.
