About Bridges International – The Orlando Bridge
Bridges International operates The Orlando Bridge, which is located in Orlando, Florida. They are an 80-bed residential level 2 substance abuse treatment program for women. They're built on the Therapeutic Community Concepts model. They are a Christian nonprofit organization that helps individuals involved in the criminal justice system through therapeutic services. They were founded over 40 years ago by an ex-felon and have since been an instrument in bridging the gap between incarceration and community reintegration.
Specialized Criminal Justice Services
They have a family services program that provides outpatient therapy and intensive wraparound services to families who have experienced trauma from addiction disorders and mental health disorders. They treat dual diagnosis and help people going through incarceration and out-of-home placement, as well as divorce, homelessness and military deployment.
They even offer community release centers that are structured environments where inmates can receive treatment and other valuable resources. This is designed for people in the final 11 months of their sentences. A work release program allows them to find employment while they're still residing at the facility.
They also offer aftercare planning for participants in their programs. This provides ongoing support for success in your long-term recovery journey.
