About Bradford Health Services Montgomery Outpatient Program
Bradford Health Services Montgomery Outpatient Program is a behavioral health treatment facility that focuses primarily on substance use disorders in Montgomery, Alabama. It is a part of the greater BHS network with outpatient facilities across Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas. This particular location solely focuses on outpatient care which includes an intensive outpatient program (IOP), dual diagnosis care, and continuing care programs.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
If you have a more serious addiction, then you might need professional help to achieve sobriety. At MOP, this includes medication assisted treatment (MAT) which helps to manage withdrawal symptoms, control cravings, and make it easier to focus on your recovery rather than symptoms that might trigger a relapse. MAT is provided if needed as part of the IOP treatment and can be managed via telehealth for added flexibility.
IOP for Sustained Support
Intensive outpatient programs are designed for the newly sober. This program offers more flexibility than an inpatient treatment method, but still requires consistent adherence to therapy sessions and check ins to help you build the mental toolkit you need to manage triggers without resorting to substance abuse as a coping mechanism. You’ll meet several times a week in either group or individual sessions.
If needed, you can also take advantage of partial hospitalization programs that allow you to spend your daytime hours at the Montgomery facility to help strengthen your sobriety but then you return home. Likewise, family support is prioritized during the IOP curriculum to provide additional community.
Empowering Long Term Success with Aftercare
Even once you complete the outpatient programs, you might still need support to help maintain your sobriety. Case managers will continue to work with you for up to two years to connect you with essential resources and the Bradford alumni network. BHS accepts most major insurers in Alabama including Tricare.
