About The Beachcomber
The Beachcomber gets its name from its eight intimate cottages that are located just steps from the sandy beach of Delray Beach, Florida. This is truly a serene and peaceful experience where you can feel the sand between your toes. During residential addiction treatment at The Beachcomber, the small group sizes of 16 max will allow you to form deep peer and clinician relationships.
Intensive and Immersive Therapy
The Beachcomber believes intensive therapy seven days per week for seven hours per day helps you reach your treatment goals. During sessions, you’ll cover various topics like the disease of addiction, coping skills, alcoholism through marriage, relapse prevention, and interpersonal relationship skills. Treatment at this facility is based on the faith-based 12 Step principles of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous.
High Intensity Outpatient Program Available
If you can’t commit to residential treatment, The Beachcomber also has the option of high intensity treatment if you need to live at home and commute to treatment. This outpatient program includes art therapy, nutrition groups, and music therapy. Licensed psychiatrists and medical doctors are available on-site to help you with medication management. This can include biosound therapy so that you can sleep better.
